Day at the Races March 15 to Benefit UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute

Day at the Races is set for 11:30 a.m. at the Oaklawn Jockey Club in Hot Springs and will include a lunch and silent auction. A donation of $50 per person is requested to attend.

Seating is limited, and parking is available in the north parking lot near the north entrance. Those who would like to attend are asked to RSVP to shackjeanettel@uams.edu or (501) 526-2277.

Special guests will include Linda and Rob Byrne, owners of 2011 Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom.

Honorary chairs for the event are Betty and Buddy Formby. Hosts are Bernard Cluck, Beryl Cumberworth and Elaine Gartenberg.

The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute is Arkansas’ only academic cancer center. The institute has more than 140,000 patient visits each year and sees patients from every Arkansas county, all 50 states and more than 40 foreign countries.
