UAMS Holiday Celebration on Dec. 12
| All employees are invited to the 2nd annual UAMS Holiday Celebration!
The on-campus Holiday Celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 12, in the Cafeteria, which will be closed to the public. Shuttle service will be provided for employees at University Tower, Education Building South and the Freeway Medical Building.
UAMS Regional Campuses and all non-central Arkansas locations will be holding similar celebrations. Meals will be coordinated with central Arkansas off-site locations in Little Rock for celebrations on Friday, Dec. 13.
Come enjoy ham, turkey, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, rolls, fresh cut fruit, cake, pie and bottled water, all catered by our amazing Nutrition Services staff.
There will also be carolers and a photo booth where you can snap festive selfies. Share your holiday celebration photos with UAMS on Twitter or Instagram and enter into the “Hype for the Holiday” photo contest for a chance to win an awesome prize! Follow these four easy steps to enter:
- Upload your photo to Twitter or Instagram and use the hashtag #UAMSholidays
- Tag @uamshealth
- Make sure your profile is set to public for the duration of the contest
- Get the most likes on your photo to WIN!
The contest will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 11, and conclude on Sunday, Dec. 15, at 5 p.m.
There will also be a slideshow to reminisce about this past year. If you have photos from work events or with your co-workers that you’d be willing to share, please email them to events@uams.edu.
Employees are invited to wear their UAMS T-shirts to the event. There will also be a canned food drive for Stocked & Reddie. If you can, please bring canned chicken, tuna, peanut butter, cereal or canned vegetables to the party.
