How to Refer Patients for Monoclonal Antibody Therapy
| To refer a patient for Monoclonal Antibody (MAB) therapy, please email healthnow@uams.edu and include as much information as possible. Let the patient know to have their phone available and to pick up from an unknown number.
Once HealthNow receives the information, they will call and screen the patients. If a patient meets qualifications, HealthNow will offer the therapy. If the patient accepts, thenHealthNow will place the orders, and the Family Medical Clinic contacts them to set up a time for infusion.
If they don’t meet qualifications, then patients are told to quarantine and asked some basic questions. If they need to be seen for a visit, then they are offered a HealthNow visit.
