New Breast Center Offers Early Morning, Evening and Weekend Hours

The center’s new, expanded location on the third floor of the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute can accommodate more patients than ever.
Breast Center Hours
- Monday – Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Monthly Tuesday After 5 p.m. Clinic
- Monthly Saturday Clinic that runs from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Our Breast Center Team welcomes UAMS employees,” says Director Gwendolyn Bryant-Smith, M.D. “It’s so convenient to come right over and get it all done here. We’re able to get patients in and out quickly and still provide same-day results.
“The most important thing is to get screened and keep up with your breast exams,” adds Bryant-Smith. “Don’t put it off due to scheduling. We’re right here.”
UAMS Breast Center physicians also include Scott Harter, M.D., Patrick Jennings, M.D., and Rachel Taylor, M.D.
Screening mammograms are also available at the UAMS Health Women’s Center in Midtown. Same-day results are offered at this location by phone. The Women’s Center does not offer biopsies or breast ultrasound.
The UAMS Breast Center is designated as a Breast Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.
