Free, 6-Week ‘Walk with Ease’ Self-Directed Program Starts Nov. 1
| Registration is open for a FREE six (6) week Arthritis Foundation Walk with Ease Self-Directed Enhanced Program. This program starts Nov. 1 and allows individuals to work on their own, at their own pace, to increase their physical activity.
The enhanced aspect of the program allows participants access to group leaders and group members through a weekly Zoom meeting. Group leaders will be actively involved through weekly emails that contain educational material and encouragement to maximize the 6-week journey.
This community program begins on Monday, Nov. 1 and ends on Friday, Dec. 10. The ZOOM Q & A meetings are scheduled for 4 p.m. Mondays OR noon on Wednesdays each week. Downloading of The Arthritis Foundation VIM Pain Management mobile app is recommended to help you to stay connected with your group. Note: It is not mandatory for participants to attend the Zoom meetings.
See the flyer for more information.
Please choose ONE date/time (Mondays at 4 p.m. or Wednesdays at noon). Each group will have two UAMS doctors of Physical Therapy, Walk With Ease certified students as group leaders. You may contact the UAMS Department of Physical Therapy @ 479-713-8600 or ptprogram@uams.edu
