Julie Windholz, M.D., Joins UAMS Thomas and Lyon Longevity Clinic
| The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has welcomed Julie Windholz, M.D., as a new physician at the Thomas and Lyon Longevity Clinic in the Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.
Windholz also serves as an assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine’s Department of Geriatrics. She started in her new roles after completing a fellowship in geriatrics at UAMS last year.
“It’s an honor to have this opportunity to work with patients to improve their quality of life and help them age gracefully,” she said.
Windholz received her education at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, earning a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Services, a Master of Science in Clinical Anatomy and a Doctor of Medicine degree.
After completing her residency in internal medicine at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Windholz continued her career at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati and Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. She came to UAMS in 2023 for her geriatrics fellowship.
