Ahmad Debian, M.D., Joins UAMS Family Medical Center in Fayetteville
| FAYETTEVILLE — Ahmad Debian, M.D., has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Family Medical Center in Fayetteville as a new primary care provider who will be treating patients of all ages.
Debian received his medical degree from Cairo University and completed his residency in family medicine at the UAMS Northwest Regional Campus in Fayetteville.
With more than eight years of experience working in rural areas, tertiary centers, nursing homes, and the military, Debian brings a unique combination of clinical excellence, global experience, and a deep commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based care.
In addition to his broad expertise in family medicine, Debian has a special passion for mental health. He provided mental health care for residents at multiple nursing homes in New York City and dedicated two years to mental health research at Baylor College of Medicine, contributing to multiple publications. His experience allows him to recognize the important connection between physical and emotional well-being, offering patients a comprehensive approach to healthcare.
Having lived in Africa, Asia, and Europe, Debian brings a global perspective to patient care. With multicultural experiences that have strengthened his ability to understand and connect with patients from diverse backgrounds, he is proud to provide culturally sensitive care in English, Arabic, and Spanish.
