Day at the Races March 29 to Benefit UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute
| LITTLE ROCK — An upcoming event will offer guests the chance to enjoy a day at Arkansas’ only thoroughbred race track while supporting cancer patients at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).
Day at the Races is set for 11:30 a.m. March 29 at Oaklawn Jockey Club in Hot Springs. For the ticket price of $50 per person, guests will enjoy lunch and an afternoon of thoroughbred racing. Tickets can be purchased at giving.uams.edu/dayattheraces or by calling (501) 526-2277. Seating is limited, and parking is available in the north parking lot near the north entrance.
Honorary chairs for the event are Mary Beth Bridges and Andrea Bridges in memory of their husband and father, Don Bridges.
