The UAMS Medical Center was one of 53 hospitals recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a "Best Regional Hospital for Equitable Access."

LITTLE ROCK — U.S. News & World Report named the UAMS Medical Center as an inaugural “Best Regional Hospital for Equitable Access,” recognizing 53 health care institutions that the magazine said both excel in quality and provide substantial access to care to socioeconomically disadvantaged patients.

The UAMS Medical Center earned earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group.

LITTLE ROCK — The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Medical Center earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit that awards letter grades to general hospitals around the country based on more than 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries and infections as well as the systems that hospitals have in place to prevent them.
