Quarantine Leave Pay Guidelines
The Offices of Human Resources and Student and Employee Health have collaborated with leadership to clarify the eligibility guidelines regarding paid leave for employees who are quarantined as a result of performing work duties related to confirmed UAMS COVID-19 patients.

My Compass is now providing virtual My Compass instructor training. The training will occur on the third Wednesday of every month and facilitated virtually. The next session is from 10-11 a.m., Oct. 21.

Interim Requirements for Events during COVID-19 Pandemic
As announced to all supervisors and managers in the Leadership Connect meeting on Sept. 10, the Chancellor is requiring that all UAMS events be conducted in a 100% virtual setting, when possible, due to the current environment.
Project One/Workday is Coming
Project One is the initiative to replace and update core administrative systems for finance, procurement, human capital management, payroll, and student administration within the University of Arkansas System. As part of the Project One initiative, Workday® will replace the current human capital management and finance systems at all institutions in the University of Arkansas System.

New Online HCP Screening Process Starts for Employees and Non-Employees on Sept. 14
UAMS employees and non-employees: An online Health Care Professional (HCP) Annual TB/Medical Screening process will replace the current requirement for annual TB skin testing and medical screening.

Child Care Assistance for Essential Workers
The Arkansas Department of Human Services is offering financial assistance through the CARES Act for essential workers in need of child care. There is no income requirement.
Also, the Office of Human Resources has prepared a list of child care facilities, resources and support programs to help employees manage possible child care needs.
