Indoor Waiting Area for Clinic Visitors

As of Monday, Aug. 10, the dining area and hallway on the first floor of the Aging Institute are open for visitors who are accompanying patients with appointments on campus. Due to physical-distancing restrictions, capacity is limited to only those with special needs and those who request a place to wait or use the restroom.

No Vented Masks Allowed at UAMS

Vented masks are NOT to be worn inside UAMS. Masks with a small plastic vent on the side allow the wearer’s breath to leave the mask and potentially release COVID-infected particles. Effective immediately, entrance screeners will not allow anyone to enter UAMS wearing a vented mask.

UAMS Hosts Farmers’ Market on Tuesdays

Starting Tuesday, June 15, UAMS will sponsor a Farmer’s Market on campus for employees and students. The Farmer’s Market will be located next to the Lobby Gallery in the PRI hallway entrance from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays.

All types of caregivers are invited to attend a Caregiver Support Group from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Thursday in the F7 Conference Room, Room F7009.
