Regional Campus Clinics Converting to Epic

Nine UAMS Health Family Medicine Clinics at regional campuses across the state and one Internal Medicine clinic in Fayetteville will convert to Epic electronic health record software over the next two months.

Therapy Dogs Help Employees De-Stress

Some very special four-legged volunteers are doing their part to relieve stress and boost morale among UAMS employees.

On the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, several canine members of the Special Pets Offering Therapy (SPOT) team trot to the UAMS Medical Center Lobby Gallery where they sit, lie down and roll over for employees who just need a short break from the day.

Time to Get Your Flu Shot; Clinics Open Sept. 21

Flu Shot Clinics for UAMS employees, students and volunteers will begin on Monday, Sept. 21.

Flu vaccinations are mandatory (HR.4.5.18) for all UAMS employees, volunteers and students. The deadline to receive your vaccination is Wednesday, Nov. 18.

UAMS Project SEARCH Interns Graduate, Overcome Unexpected Challenges

It wasn’t how they planned, but graduation for the 12 interns in the 2020 UAMS Project SEARCH program was still about celebrating achievement. Team UAMS members Sept. 10 gave recorded video testimonials and logged in to a live streaming video to celebrate the graduating interns.
