40 Employees Complete Certified Research Specialist Program

Forty employees were honored at a Jan. 31 ceremony for successfully completing the Certified Research Specialist (CRS) program in 2018.

Forty employees received their certificates for successfully completing the Certified Research Specialist (CRS) program in 2018 during a Jan. 31 ceremony. Another 132 employees were re-certified in 2018.

Dozens of UAMS employees gathered for the 2019 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration, sponsored by the Center for Diversity Affairs, which celebrated the legacy of service advocated by the slain civil rights icon and included the presentation of the Unity Award for completing a collaborative service project.


Outpatient Clinic Reopens After Renovations

The UAMS Allergy, Endocrinology, Podiatry, Pulmonary and Renal clinics are housed in the space that used to be the Internal Medicine North clinic.

The former location of the Internal Medicine North clinic has been completely renovated over the past eight months and reopened Jan. 2 as the new home for the UAMS Allergy, Endocrinology, Podiatry, Pulmonary and Renal clinics.

UAMS Volunteers Provide Free Eye Exams, Glasses to Local Students

The 2nd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Pediatric Vision Outreach at UAMS was a day providing vision care to commemorate a visionary. Nine organizations, four UAMS departments, and two local schools united to provide the opportunity for free eye exams and glasses to students in Little Rock and the surrounding areas.
