New Exhibit Celebrates 140th Anniversary of UAMS

A new exhibit from the UAMS Historical Research Center celebrating the 140th anniversary of UAMS has been installed near the College of Medicine administrative offices.

Turning 140 years old means having a lot of history to celebrate. North Arkansas College, UAMS Sign New Online Transfer Agreement

Dr. Randy Esters, North Arkansas College president, and Stephanie Gardner, Pharm.D., Ed.D., UAMS provost, sign an agreement Monday in to allow Northark Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) graduates to transfer to an online program at UAMS to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS).

North Arkansas College in Harrison has signed an agreement with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) that allows Northark Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) graduates to transfer to a corresponding online Bachelor of Science degree program through UAMS without leaving their hometowns.

Gardner Urges Graduates to Embody UAMS’ Mission in Their Careers

For the 97 students in the College of Health Professions receiving their master’s and doctoral degrees, the May 17 hooding ceremony represented a long-awaited end of their studies and the beginning of their clinical careers.
