There was standing room only at River City Ministry in North Little Rock on Dec. 12 as volunteers filled wash basins with warm soapy water while preparing to give foot exams and new shoes and socks for the homeless, working poor and disabled.

UAMS Sets SeniorNet January Computer Classes for People 50 and Up

LITTLE ROCK – Computer classes — Fundamentals for Beginners, Digital Photography/Picasa, Introduction to Computers – Windows 8 and a one-time iPad and iPhone Camera and Photo Editing Demo — will be taught in January for people ages 50 and older at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.
