UAMS Breast Cancer Awareness Program Receives $30,000
<span class=”content”>LITTLE ROCK – The Witness Project, a program of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) to increase awareness of breast cancer, has been awarded a $30,000 one-year grant from the Avon Foundation for Women. It is the 11th year the program has received Avon Foundation for Women funding.</span>

UAMS Northwest Campus Receives $435,000 from Walmart Foundation for Academic Specialty Clinic
Feb. 9, 2011 | A $435,000 grant to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Northwest announced Feb. 8 from the Walmart Foundation will fund a new teaching clinic that will give students at the regional campus enhanced clinical experiences.
