May 24, Science Café – Earthquakes: Shake, Rattle & Roll
<span class=”content”>LITTLE ROCK – The Science Café Little Rock, co-sponsored by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), will hold its next public forum, Earthquakes: Shake, Rattle & Roll on May 24. Panelists will discuss the causes, geology and current research on seismic events, as well as what individuals and communities can do in the event of a major earthquake.</span>

Laparoscopic Surgery Is State’s First for Testicular Cancer Patient
April 21, 2011 | Matthew Katz, M.D., a urologic-oncologist at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), recently performed what is believed to be the first minimally invasive surgery in Arkansas to remove lymph nodes in a patient with testicular cancer.
