UAMS Awarded $135,000 in Grants to Train Teachers in Health Sciences

LITTLE ROCK – The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Partners in Health Sciences Program has been awarded $135,000 in grants to give Arkansas pre-K-12th grade teachers tools to teach health science topics.

Free Legal Assistance Event for Cancer Patients and Survivors Oct. 22

The legal aid event is set for 5:30-7:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Lawyers will assist cancer patients and survivors in preparing simple wills, powers of attorney and advance directives.
