Dental Clinic Staff Volunteer at UAMS’ COVID Screening Stations

Numerous UAMS employees volunteered to work at the employee and patient screening stations around campus. These screening stations play an important role in keeping employees, students and patients safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Medical Laboratory Sciences Student Awarded National Scholarship

Misty Schoolfield, a Medical Laboratory Sciences student in the College of Health Professions, received a national scholarship from the American Proficiency Institute.

Misty Schoolfield, a junior in the College of Health Professions’ Medical Laboratory Sciences programs, is one of five students nationwide to receive a $2,000 scholarship from the American Proficiency Institute (API).
