UAMS, Delta Dental Band Together to Improve Oral Health in State

The 12th Street Health & Wellness Center has a mission. A student-run free clinic operating under the supervision of licensed health care professionals, the center provides health screenings, education, immunizations and basic dental screenings for the community. Achieving the dental portion of the clinic’s mission would not be possible without the generosity of the Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation.

PA Students Give More Than $12,000 to Arkansas Foodbank

The funds were raised during the PA students' Heroes Against Hunger 5K. UAMS, UA Little Rock Partner in 7 Programs in College of Health Professions

Radiologic Imaging Sciences is one of seven programs included in the 2+2 partnership between UAMS and UA Little Rock. The partnership allows students to attend UA Little Rock for two years and then transfer to UAMS for two more years to earn Bachelor of Science degrees in seven allied health professions.

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock have announced a new partnership for students pursuing seven bachelor’s degrees in the UAMS College of Health Professions.

Students, Donors Honored at Scholarship Reception

The College of Health Professions celebrated the achievements of its students and the generosity of its donors at its annual Scholarship Program in November.
Nearly $70,000 in scholarships were awarded to 47 worthy students from the college’s 17 departments.

CHP Celebrates 100 Years of Medical Laboratory Sciences at UAMS

The Medical Laboratory Sciences program has an illustrious history at UAMS that stretches 100 years. On Aug. 18, the College of Health Professions celebrated that history at the annual Alumni Weekend, inviting all program alumni for a luncheon.
