UAMS Opens Gap Services Office in McGehee


LITTLE ROCK — The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is opening its second Gap Services office in McGehee to provide free health services, as well as access to a food pantry, for residents of southeast Arkansas.

Nurses week 2022 began on Thursday, May 5, with a kick-off ceremony in the Lobby Gallery featuring opening remarks by Chief Nursing Officer Trenda Ray, introduction of the Nurses Rock Committee, and a blessing of the hands by Director of the Pastoral Care Department Susan McDougal.
