March 31, 2015 | The College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) recently received full, eight-year reaccreditation from a national committee that oversees medical education, which commended the college on it’s innovative instructional strategy – among other things.

March 20, 2015 | The 20th day of December matched two fourth-year UAMS College of Medicine couples in marriage, and then the 20th day of March matched all four students to where they will serve their medical residencies after they graduate in May.

LITTLE ROCK — In recognition of his contributions to ground-breaking translational research and his care of thousands of patients with multiple myeloma, Bart Barlogie, M.D., Ph.D., has been named distinguished professor of medicine and pathology in the College of Medicine of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) by resolution of the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees.
