Dec. 8, 2015 | The UAMS 12th Street Health & Wellness Center’s made the global local on Dec. 1, observing World AIDS Day by providing 36 patients with free HIV screenings. Most of those 36 people also sought a variety of other free health screenings, including screenings for blood pressure, glucose levels and blood pressure….

Pharmacy Alumnus, Benefactor Honored

Dec. 4, 2014 | Carl Collier, who received his bachelor’s degree in the UAMS College of Pharmacy in 1964 and later his PharmD., recently was honored by the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce with the Wes Golden Gordon Deeds Award. The award recognizes individuals who have contributed significantly to the quality of life in Fayetteville. The award was presented by Nancy Allen, daughter of the late Wes Gordon.
