Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Hosts First Summer Research Intensive for Medical Students

The NIH-funded Partners in Cancer Research Program is underway at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute. New discoveries in cancer treatment might come from 24-year-old Nadia Safar, one of 12 UAMS medical students participating in the state’s first and only undergraduate cancer research program at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.
