LITTLE ROCK — Computer classes — Introduction to Computers – Windows 7, Introduction to Computers – Windows 8, Fundamentals for Beginners – Windows 8 and Word Processing 2010 — will be taught in January for people ages 50 and older at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Donald W. LITTLE ROCK — Special needs children with medical complexity, who see multiple specialists for more than one chronic condition, are more likely to have a health care need go unmet, according to a paper by Dennis Kuo, M.D., an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Research Institute, published this month in the prestigious, peer-reviewed journal Health Affairs.

Dec. 4, 2014 | Carl Collier, who received his bachelor’s degree in the UAMS College of Pharmacy in 1964 and later his PharmD., recently was honored by the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce with the Wes Golden Gordon Deeds Award. The award recognizes individuals who have contributed significantly to the quality of life in Fayetteville. The award was presented by Nancy Allen, daughter of the late Wes Gordon.
