Lyle Burdine, M.D., Joins UAMS as Kidney, Liver, Pancreatic Transplant Surgeon

LITTLE ROCK — Lyle J. Burdine, M.D., Ph.D., has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) as a kidney, liver and pancreas transplant surgeon. Burdine also serves as an assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine’s Department of Surgery. UAMS Psychiatrist to Speak Sept. 14 on Connection Between Teen Depression and Internet Use, Video Games

LITTLE ROCK — A recent study by University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) psychiatrists found that youth who spend five or more hours per day on the Internet or playing video games are at a higher risk of depression and suicidal thoughts than teens who play fewer hours.
