Urology Specialist Ayman Mahdy, M.D., Joins UAMS
| LITTLE ROCK – Ayman Mahdy, M.D., a urology specialist, has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and is accepting male and female patients.
Mahdy, an assistant professor of urology, specializes in voiding dysfunction, female urology, urodynamics and urologic reconstruction.
After earning a medical degree and serving his residency in Egypt, he completed two, two-year fellowships: one at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, and the second at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston.
Mahdy provides evaluation and management of all types of voiding dysfunction in males and females (urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, urinary retention, neurogenic bladder, and painful bladder syndrome). He also treats female pelvic organ prolapse, benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) and stone disease.
