Change in International Travel Requirements for UAMS Employees and Students

New UAMS guidelines require that all employees, non-employees and students returning from international travel, regardless of vaccination status, undergo COVID-19 PCR testing after returning to the United States before returning to a UAMS campus or work.

Physician Assistant, Audiology, Speech Pathology Students Don White Coats

May often brings graduations and happy endings to the studies of many types of students.

But for the first-year students in the UAMS department of Physician Assistant Studies and fourth-year audiology students in Audiology and Speech Pathology, the month and the departments’ white coat ceremonies marked the formal beginning of the next phase of their academic lives.


College of Health Professions Celebrates Graduates in May

UAMS College of Health Professions’ second year of virtual graduation ceremonies in May shared something with all graduations virtual and traditional – the smiles of students, the words of congratulations from faculty and feelings of accomplishment among everyone. That sense of accomplishment may have even been deeper for some because of the challenges the COVID-19…
