UAMS Project SEARCH Interns Complete Program, Many Find Jobs

Even masks and social distancing couldn’t conceal the powerful, positive emotions June 15 among the family and friends at St. Andrews United Methodist Church attending the graduation of seven young adults from Project SEARCH at UAMS.

Wellness Week Returns and Succeeds for Residents

Wellness Week in late May included pet therapy, a food drive and a week-long, online contest using the Goose Chase app.

May often brings graduations and happy endings to the studies of many types of student. But for the Class of 2023 in the UAMS Department of Physician Studies, the month and the department’s white coat ceremony May 28 marked the formal beginning of the next phase of their academic lives.

UAMS Portal Gives Access to About 3,200 Policies and Procedures

UAMS currently has about 3,200 active policies and procedures across the institution that are accessible in Compliance 360, our centralized policy management software application.  In order for us to ensure the standards we hold ourselves accountable to, we steadfastly insist that all employees, physicians, volunteers, trainees, faculty and students are aware of our formal policies.
