UAMS Receives Funds from GlaxoSmithKline for Research on Drug Abuse Treatment
<p class=”content”><span style=”font-size: 13px; font-family: arial;”>GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), one of the world’s leading research-based pharmaceutical and health care companies, has given $31,000 to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) to support a graduate student training in pharmacokinetics, or the study of the process by which a drug is absorbed, distributed, metabolized, and eliminated by the body.</span></p>
