New Dental Hygiene Clinic Already Benefits Local Community

Dental hygiene students do the preparatory work for applying a dental sealant to some of the teeth of one of the 56 children who came to March sealant clinic with their families.

Even before the new UAMS Dental Hygiene Clinic in the Freeway Medical Tower had its official opening ceremony March 22, it already was delivering dental care to people in central Arkansas. On March 5, dental hygiene students, supervised by faculty, offered cleaning to residents of Our House, and on March 20, they applied dental sealants…
