War Memorial Stadium Parking Alert for Nov. 1-2

Parking at War Memorial Stadium will be unavailable on Monday, Nov. 1, and Tuesday Nov. 2 for the scheduled State Marching Band Competition.   In the event of inclement weather, it will be rescheduled for the following week; Monday, Nov. 8 and Tuesday, Nov. 9.

New Hours for SEHS Vaccine Clinic

Beginning Friday, Oct. 15, the Student and Employee Health Services Vaccine Clinic in the hospital Lobby Gallery will close at 5 p.m. instead of 7 p.m. on weekdays. New hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays (closed Thursdays).

Culinary Medicine Program Opens New Kitchen

What used to be a space where people could eat lunch is now a place where people will make lunches and other meals as part of the UAMS Culinary Medicine Program. On Oct. 5, the program reached a milestone in its brief history as it formally opened its new Culinary Medicine Kitchen.

Nine UAMS Nurses Selected as ’40 Under 40′ Leaders Statewide

UAMS is proud to recognize nine of the university’s nurse recipients out of 23 nominated UAMS nurses including the College of Nursing for the Arkansas Center for Nursing’s – 40 under 40 Nurse Leaders. UAMS received the highest number of recipients in the state.
