Under UAMS policy 13.1.01, the UAMS Office of Communications & Marketing is charged by the Chancellor’s Office with coordinating all contact with and from the news media to ensure a timely response and one that is in accordance with HIPAA when it relates to patient information and FERPA (student privacy) as well as other UAMS policies.
