LITTLE ROCK – Science Café Little Rock, co-sponsored by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), will hold its next public forum, Radiation and Other Space Perils, on March 24. Panelists will discuss the various kinds/levels of radiation in outer space, as well as the effects of radiation on living systems.

CDC Awards $3.75 million to UAMS for Arkansas Prevention Research Center

Feb. 27, 2015 | The Arkansas Prevention Research Center (ARPRC) at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health has been awarded an additional $3.75 million grant to continue the ARPRC’s activities for a new five-year period by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
