Flu Shot Clinics for UAMS Employees, Students and Volunteers Have Started

UAMS Chancellor Cam Patterson receives his flu shot in preparation for the 2019-2020 flu season.

Flu Shot Clinics for UAMS employees, students and volunteers begin Monday, September 16. Flu vaccinations are mandatory (HR.4.5.8) for all UAMS employees, volunteers and students. The deadline to receive your vaccination is Nov. 20.

Two UAMS Medical Students Awarded Scholarships for Rural Arkansas Primary Care

Brasher, of North Little Rock, and Cullum, of Bono, are this year's recipients of the Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield Primary Care Scholarship.

Two UAMS medical students have each been awarded a $20,000 Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield Primary Care Scholarship, which encourages aspiring physicians to pursue primary care practices in rural Arkansas.
